Product image policy

To help you tell your products apart at a glance on your shelf, some products show a default product identification image. This image is not part of the product data and does not affect any ingredient or reminder features.

1. Your own photos always come first

• You can take a photo or choose one from your photo library to replace any default image at any time.
• Once you add your own photo, the default image is no longer shown.
• Your own product photos are stored in a private space that only you can read. They are not made public and are not used as default images.

2. Where default images come from

• Default images are taken from the brand's own website, or from retail websites where the product is sold.
• We record the source URL and domain of every image.
• If we cannot find a suitable identification image, we leave it blank rather than use a different image in its place.
• A brand logo is shown only as a last-resort identification hint, when the brand has no product images at all.

3. We do not claim a license

Showing a source does not mean we claim a license, copyright or permission to use the image. Nor do we describe any image from an external source as "licensed", "copyright-free" or "approved by the brand".

4. Requesting removal of an image

If you are a rights holder or their representative and believe an image should not appear here, please email support@nomorewaste.app with the product name and brand, or tell us if you want all images from a whole domain or brand removed.

We can remove images by individual product, by source domain or by brand. We handle requests as quickly as possible, and the removal reaches all devices with the next data update.
