Delete your NoMore Waste account

This page explains how to delete your NoMore Waste account and the data linked to it. The NoMore Waste app is developed by the NoMore Waste team.

1. Delete your account in the app (immediate)

This is the fastest way, and it works for every account. Deletion is immediate and can't be undone.

Open NoMore Waste and go to Profile → Account. If you haven't created an account, this row is called Back up your data.
Tap Delete account at the bottom of the page.
Confirm twice: tap Delete, then Delete forever.

Email support@nomorewaste.app from the email address linked to your account, with the subject "Delete my account". If you sign in with Apple or Google, send it from the email address of that Apple Account or Google account.
Once we've verified that the account is yours, we'll delete it within 30 days and email you when it's done.
If your account was never linked to an email address, an Apple Account or a Google account (the app shows This device only), we can't verify by email that it's yours, so it can only be deleted in the app.

Purchase and subscription records held by Apple or Google, which they keep under their own policies. Deleting your account doesn't cancel a subscription. Cancel it separately in the App Store or Google Play.
Records of edits to catalog products. This record doesn't include your account, so it isn't removed with it. It's deleted automatically after one year.
Copies left in our service providers' backups, which expire within their regular backup cycle.
Emails our team received about feedback, reports or suggestions you sent. We delete these within one year.
